Our Prophet is the greatest and the last of the Prophets. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the most honorable of all beings created by Allah. Everything was created in his honor. He is the Messenger of Allah, the final Prophet. While Allah addresses all other Prophets by their names, He has referred to him as "My Beloved" (Habibim). Indeed, Allah stated in a sacred hadith: “If it were not for you, I would not have created anything!” All of creation was made for his honor. Allah has sent Prophets from time to time to various nations to guide them on the path He is pleased with. However, He sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the last Prophet to all of humanity and jinn. For this reason, he is referred to as "Khatam-un-Nabiyyin" and "Khatam-ul-Anbiya."

Every Prophet is superior to all of their people in every way during their time and place. However, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the most superior being in every respect from the day the world was created until the Day of Judgment, among all past and future beings. No one surpasses him in any regard. Allah created the light of Muhammad (peace be upon him) before all else. Abdullah bin Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) from among the noble companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What did Allah create first?" The beloved Prophet replied, "He created the light of your Prophet, that is, my light, from His own light. At that time, there was neither the Tablet (Levh), nor the Pen (Kalem), nor Paradise (Cennet), nor Hell (Cehennem), nor angels, nor the sky (Semâ’), nor the earth (Arz), nor the sun, nor the moon, nor humans, nor jinn." When Adam (peace be upon him) was created, he saw the name "Ahmed" written in light on the Throne (Arş-ı A'lâ). When he asked, "O my Lord! What is this light?" Allah replied, "This is the light of a Prophet from your progeny, whose name is Ahmed in the heavens and Muhammad on earth. If it were not for him, I would not have created you." When Adam (peace be upon him) was created, the light of Muhammad (peace be upon him) was placed on his forehead and began to shine. This light was passed down from father to son until it reached its rightful owner, Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in Mecca on the night of Monday, the twelfth of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal, fifty-three years before the Hijra. Historians say that this date corresponds to April 20, 571, in the Gregorian calendar. A few months before his birth, his father passed away, and when he was six years old, his mother also died. For this reason, the Prophet was given the title "Durra al-Yatim" (the pearl of orphans). He stayed with his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, until the age of eight. After his grandfather's death, his uncle, Abu Talib, took him in. At the age of twenty-five, he married Khadijah al-Kubra. Their first son was named Qasim. For this reason, the Prophet is also known as Abu al-Qasim, meaning the father of Qasim. This was a common practice among Arabs to be addressed by such titles. At the age of forty, Allah declared him a Prophet to all humanity and jinn. Three years later, he began to call everyone to faith. At the age of fifty-two, he experienced the Isra and Mi'raj (Night Journey and Ascension). In 622, at the age of fifty-three, he migrated from Mecca to Medina. He engaged in twenty-seven battles. He passed away at the age of sixty-three on the afternoon of Monday, the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal in 632 (11 AH).
